Thirty five millimeter slides,
video tapes, overhead transparencies, as well as actual aircraft parts,
are used extensively to help the learning process. Additionally, the
Pilot's Operating Handbook, Manufacturer's Service Bulletins, Service
Letters, Airworthiness Directives, Service Difficulty Reports, Service
Manuals, and ATM Workbooks add to the many audio visual training aids
used by ATM.
Certification
Standards
ATM's
only business is training pilots. Our standards are set to assure the
maximum potential for safety of flight. Evaluation of each trainee is
accomplished by written, oral, and practical testing. Every trainee
that receives an ATM completion certificate has demonstrated that he
or she has a thorough understanding and proven ability in the following
areas:
- Understanding the systems
of their airplane
- Demonstrated competence
to perform all practical maneuvers required for the level of pilot
certification held by the trainee
- Demonstrated ability
to make decisions that will enable the
trainee to act as a safe pilot at all times
ATM's training programs are
designed to make safe, competent, and proficient pilots. It is ATM's policy
never to compromise its standards. If trainees are unsuccessful in meeting
the set standards, ATM will continue to work with them for the additional
time needed to meet the standards. ATM has never and will never issue
a completion certificate to anyone who does not meet the standards.
